Sunderland, Atlético Madrid and West Brom interested in signing Yann M’Vila

According to RMC Sport, Atlético Madrid, West Bromwich Albion and Sunderland have all shown an interest in signing Yann M’Vila (33) on a free transfer. With the summer transfer window now shut and several teams suffering from injuries, teams are considering free agents and M’Vila is a player who has received several enquiries.

The French midfielder is a free agent following the expiry of his contract with Olympiacos in June. West Brom and his former club Sunderland have both been in contact with the former OM midfielder and his entourage but no concrete offers have been made as of yet. Fulham reportedly considered the former Inter Milan midfielder to replace João Palhinha, but his subsequent move to Bayern Munich collapsed.

Atlético Madrid are perhaps the club who have shown the most interest in the 33-year-old with M’Vila discussing the prospect of signing for the La Liga club with several figures at the Wanda Metropolitano. Le Havre and Istanbul Basaksehir are also interested in signing the midfielder. M’Vila is keen to continue his playing career but is yet to decide on his next club.
