Speaking in an interview with L’Est-Éclair, 28-year-old French international and AS Monaco full-back Djibril Sidibé admitted that he has a strong desire to return to the Premier League after last season’s loan spell with Everton.
Under contract with ASM until June 2022, Sidibé: “Can’t wait to return to England. [The Premier League] is a reference point in our sport. It remains the number one league… The day that I rediscover 100% of my form, I will be a credible candidate for the national team.”
