Supposedly on Monaco’s shortlist, Ruffier is another big name rumoured to be leaving St Etienne this summer. The 26 year old will leave Les Verts if the right offer comes in and contact has now been made by an unknown English club. Roma are also said to be interested, but no contact has been made as yet.
Ruffier’s agent Patrick Glanz told press:
“The interest of Roma in Ruffier? I don’t rule out that the Giallorossi like him. Rudi Garcia likes him but there has been no direct contact.”
“St Etienne would like to keep him but if they get a good offer they would let him go.”
“Currently there has been contact with an English club. Therefore, a future in the Premier League is a possibility.”
