AC Milan eyeing Saint-Étienne goalkeeper Noah Raveyre

Noah Raveyre, a 17-year-old goalkeeper at Ligue 2’s Saint-Étienne, has been linked with the Rossoneri since last summer. The Italian side are now looking for Raveyre’s signature during the current transfer window, according to a report from Gianluca DiMarzio.

With the arrival of Colombian shot-stopper Devis Vásquez in recent weeks, AC Milan are on the hunt for yet another goalkeeper. Their target, Raveyre, is a French national, and would serve as understudy to countryman Mike Maignan, who is set to wear the gloves for Les Bleus after Hugo Lloris announced his retirement from international football. This represents a perfect chance to learn from one of the best, as Maignan has won both the French League title and the Scudetto in his past two seasons.

Raveyre has only appeared once for Les Stéphanois during a dreadful season in the second tier of French football, where Saint-Étienne sit squarely at the bottom of the league. The grasses are surely greener in Milan, where they are not only third in Serie A, but also have UCL football. Milan play Tottenham Hotspur in the round of 16, taking place across February and March.
