Saint-Étienne set to sign Häcken winger Ibrahim Sadiq

L’Équipe report this afternoon that Ghanaian international Ibrahim Sadiq is set to complete a move to Saint-Étienne from Swedish top flight outfit BH Häcken.

The 22-year-old will join in a deal worth €2m and put pen to paper on a contract keeping him at Les Verts for the next three and a half years, as the team looks to strengthen their options ahead of a relegation battle and replace the injured Kader Bamba. The team currently sit in 19th place, having suffered a points deduction after their relegation from the top flight.

The former Nordsjaelland man has seven goals this season for the Allsvenskan side, along with four assists in his 19 appearances.

Rijeka defender Mateo Pavlović, formerly of Angers and Amiens, is another target for the former Ligue 1 outfit, who are looking to replace the injured Anthony Briançon. The 32-year-old will join on a loan deal until the end of the season, pending the completion of his medical.
