PSG’s bid for Bradley Barcola rejected, Les Parisiens now focusing on Ousmane Dembélé signing

Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Paris Saint-Germain have seen a €30m bid for Olympique Lyonnais forward Bradley Barcola (20) rejected.

As revealed earlier in July by RomanoPSG have been pushing to sign France U21 international Barcola, who enjoyed a breakthrough with Lyon last season. Having secured his spot in the first team during the second half of the season at Lyon, he was then part of France’s U21 squad for the European Championships.

That form has caught the attention of PSG, who formulated a €30m offer for Barcola. That bid has been rejected by Lyon, and Les Parisiens’ attention will now turn towards securing the signing of Ousmane Dembélé (26). RMC Sport reported earlier on Friday that Dembélé was on the verge of joining the Ligue 1 champions.

However, reporting from L’Équipe and Romano suggests that a deal is not quite as close. Whilst Romano reports that PSG are focused on triggering the €50m release clause that features in the Frenchman’s Barcelona contract, nothing is yet concluded, and everything will depend on Dembélé’s wishes.
