RC Lens’ highly rated youngster Alexandre Coeff will sign for Italian side Udinese in the coming days before being loaned straight out to sister club Granada in Spain as both clubs share the same owner.
After narrowly dodging expulsion from Ligue 2 by the DNCG because of their obvious monetary difficulties, RC Lens will have to sell off promising talent in order to balance the books, Alexandre Coeff is one of many more to come.
The player has agreed a long term contract with Udinese, believed to be for 4 years. RC Lens and Udinese are believed to be extremely close to finalising an agreement for a fee that will no doubt be undisclosed due to the sensitivity of the former club’s exact financial position.
